Pranayam (Pranayama)

Pranayam (also spelled Pranayama) is an ancient practice concerned with breath control. It is beneficial in many terms. As I am a software professional I encounter stress very much in my life, so I think Pranayam is a wonderful technique which could overcome stress! Similar to that of relaxing and listening to music but this is slightly at a better level than that because Pranayam take more care about health.

For practicing Pranayam you can take any comfortable posture not necessarily Lotus Posture even sitting straight on chair would do.

Pranayam Methods

 Bhastrika Pranayam: Bellows Breath

  1. Breathe in deeply through your nostrils. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last.
  2. Breathe out quickly through your nostrils. Feel the collar bones dropping, chest deflating, and abdomen shrinking as the lungs collapse. This process of exhaling should be much faster than the process of inhaling -- almost like a rapid deflation.
  3. Repeat the process. When correctly done, your chest will expand when you breathe in and deflate when you breathe out. Continue doing this for 5 minutes.
  4. With practice, speed up your breathing. Beginners should always start slowly to avoid hyperventilating, but over time, it will be possible to turn this into a rapid breathing technique.

 Kapalbhati Pranayam: Shining Forehead Breath

  1. Inhale through your nostrils normally until your lungs are full. Keep your inhalation slow but unforced. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last.
  2. Exhale through both nostrils forcefully. This places the emphasis of the breath on the exhale rather than the (natural) inhale. Assist your exhalation by pulling in your stomach muscles to expel air. Exhaling should take much less time than it took to inhale.
  3. “Forced” exhalation means that the contraction of your stomach muscles helps push the air out of your body. It does not mean that the exhalation should be uncomfortable for you in any way.
  4. Repeat breaths for 15 minutes. You may take a minute's rest after every five minutes.

Anulom Vilom Pranayam: Alternate Nostril Breath

  1. Close your eyes. Focus your attention on your breathing.
  2. Close the right nostril with the right thumb. Simply press the thumb against your nostril to block it.
  3. Inhale slowly through the left nostril. Fill your lungs with air. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last.
  4. Remove your thumb from your right nostril. Keep your right hand by your nose and your lungs full of air.
  5. Use your ring and middle finger to close your left nostril. Most people find it easier to continue using the same hand to block either nostril, but you’re welcome to switch hands depending on which nostril you’re blocking.
    1. You can also switch if your arm gets tired.
  6. Exhale slowly and completely with the right nostril. Feel the collar bones dropping, chest deflating, and abdomen shrinking as the lungs collapse. When you’ve finished exhaling, keep your left nostril closed.
  7. Inhale through the right nostril. Fill your lungs.
  8. Close the right nostril and open the left.
  9. Breathe out slowly through the left nostril. This process is one round of Anulom Vilom Pranayam.
  10. Continue for 15 minutes. You may take a minute's rest after every five minutes of exercise.

Bahya Pranayam: External Breath

  1. Inhale deeply through your nose. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last.
  2. Exhale forcefully. Use your stomach and diaphragm to push the air from your body. “Forced” exhalation means that the contraction of your stomach muscles helps push the air out of your body. It does not mean that the exhalation should be uncomfortable for you in any way.
  3. Touch your chin to your chest and suck in your stomach completely. The goal is to leave a hollow below your ribcage, making it look like the front muscle wall of your abdomen is pressed against the back. Hold this position -- and your breath -- for as long as is comfortable.
  4. Lift your chin and breathe in slowly. Allow your lungs to completely fill with air.
  5. Repeat 3 to 5 times.

Bhramari Pranayam: Bee Breath

  1. Close your eyes. Focus on your breathing.
  2. Place your thumbs in your ears, your index fingers above your eyebrows, and your remaining along the sides of your nose. Keep each pinky finger near a nostril.
  3. Breathe in deeply through the nose. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last.
  4. Use your pinkies to partially close each nostril. Keep your lungs filled.
  5. Breathe out through the nose while humming. Note that the humming sound should originate in your throat, not as a result of your partially-blocked nostrils.
  6. Repeat three times.

Installing and configuring DotnetNuke 7.0

Before we begin let’s see how your IIS is configured!!

Did you look at all those check/un-check things in the IIS it should be similar, or rather I say it should be same for sound working of DotNetNuke (DNN) 7.0 well because I had a tough time finding solution for my problem, watching several videos and landed up fiddling IIS settings so I just want you people to do the same in less time, or rather I don’t want you people to make the same mistakes which I did!!

Once you are done with the IIS Part you should Install SQL Server 2008 R2 or Express and its Management studio.

I have Installed SQL Server 2008 Express and its Management Studio!! No special configuration is required for SQL Server 2008, ya but you need a user with SQL Authentication! For the timing I am using my ‘sa’ user. I don’t mind you people doing the same! But it’s not a good practice.

Once you are done with the database Installation and configuration lets jump to downloading the files for DotNetNuke which will be used for our hosting, for downloading use this link
https://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/downloads/get/671130

Once you are done with your download let’s begin the installation.
1.       Go to the zip file and extract it.
2.       No go to the extracted folder (say for DotNetNuke_Community_07.00.06_Deploy) open it now you will find another folder DotNetNuke inside that now copy the content of that folder.
3.       Go to some place where you would like to place your hosting files.
4.       Make a new folder named dnn or something you prefer.
5.       Now paste all the files which you have copied into that folder.
6.       Now open your Internet Information Service (IIS) Manager using shortcut ‘inetmgr’ (go to run and type it).
7.       Now create a virtual directory inside Default web site say for dnn with Alias and specify the Physical Path (this should be pointing to the folder something like x:\Bridewin\dnn).
8.       Now right click the same and click on convert to application, Now it should look like this
9.       Once you have done that go to that folder and specify the permission for the same.
10.   You need to give 2 users permission 1. IIS_IUSRS and 2. IUSR, as shown in the screenshot if you have ever hosted and configured a web application you will find this step a bit easy. In normal cases you don’t need IUSR but for DotNetNuke we need this.
11.   Great now we have done with the hosting part.
12.   Now for database! Open your SQL Server 2008 and create a database dotnetnuke, if you are in a lazy mood please use the attached script. Click here (http://rapidshare.com/files/4153866180/DotNetNuke_Create_Database.txt) to download.
13.   Once you have done with the database creation part, Open your browser and type http://localhost/dnn or whatever alias you have given.
14.   Now fill in the information as shown

15.   The username and password which you will be entering will be used as super user so make sure you remember the username and password.
16.   Enter the website name or leave it as it is! You can change it later.
17.   Template it’s better to keep as it is anyhow you can change it later on.
18.   Language will be the language which you prefer! In case if you are interested in localization you can change it to the preferred one!
19.   Now let’s go to the database part.
20.    Now as show above select custom.
21.   Select SQL Server/Express database
22.   Now in the server name key in the instance name if you have an Instance otherwise just keep the period as it is ’.’ and remove everything else.
23.   Enter dotnetnuke as Database Name.
24.   Now enter Database user name and password say for ‘sa’ as username and password ‘your password’.
25.   Now click on continue. If you did everything as I have mentioned above you will get a page with progress bar indicating the status of installation.

26.   Finally!! after reaching 100% you can view your website by clicking Visit Website.

That’s it now you can start adding/editing controls from the menu, it’s very simple Enjoy!

Wasn’t that very simple?? :P

Do mention your views, any suggestions or whatever you like to say do comment me I will surely reply back!!

A day Hacking and Cracking Office 2013

A day with Office 2013! It was a wonderful experience installing Office 2013 and taking a peek at its new sky drive facility! To be honest I am using a pirated version of Office 2013!

Installation was very smooth on my Windows 8 PC. Later on I found an activator or can be said as a crack which is to be used for activating the Office 2013. My fun turned to be misery when I realized that the crack is not working for me since I installed my office 2013 in my ‘G’ drive.

Whole of a sudden it was terror for me! Now what?!?! Should I get back to my previous version of Office or should I reinstall Office 2013 in my ‘C’ drive after uninstalling some application?!?!
Now at this point my Misery turned into fun guess what I thought of writing my own Crack for Office 2013 so that I can fix it once and for all! And why not share it with other peoples too who might be having same problem.

Slowly and slowly I started to look for loop hole and the way to hack Office 2013! Later by noon time I found some ways and wrote my own first Crack application for Office 2013 and voila it’s working!!!

You can find the source code for the same below:

If you are interested in the EXE then please click here (from Rapidshare) to download the zip file and then extract it.

To use this crack you must be having KMS emulator or qemu running on your machine and then execute my crack. Everything will go fine!

This is how it should look when you run it!

Enjoy Office 2013 for free!

Sorry my post was down for some time due to Infringement Notification you know from whom! ;)
